Job Description

What is the larger purpose and impact of this role?
The role would require taking complete ownership of managing accounts and finances at MiStay. Apart from performing all the accounting responsibilities and ensuring all statutory/ legal compliance are met, the role would also involve gradually helping in setting up scalable processes for streamlining various operational activities affecting accounts & finance as well as being up-to-date with new tax reforms/ compliance requirements effecting the company. The candidate will also be expected to gradually give inputs in business operations to drive the financial well-being of the company.

What would be my key responsibilities?
  • Daily Book-keeping and maintaining up to date books of account
  • Filing of TDS, GST and PT returns
  • Processing payment to the vendors
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable management
  • Monthly Invoicing
  • Preparation of Financial Statements and assisting the auditors in Annual Audit
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Payroll Management
  • MIS preparation
What type of a candidate will succeed in this role?
  • CA (Inter)/MBA with 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks and MS Excel
  • Shall be fast-learner and shall be able to take complete ownership and responsibility of the given work
